Thank you to everyone who voted for me. I am truly grateful for the support, the conversations, and the encouragement throughout this campaign.

Unfortunately, I came up short in the primary. While the outcome is not what I hoped for, I remain committed to Green River and the issues that matter to our city.

I will be supporting Paul Stevens in the General Election this November and encourage you to do the same. I’ll also be back in two years, and in the meantime I will continue speaking up about the needs of our community — stronger local revenue opportunities, practical housing options, and supporting the businesses and tourism that help Green River grow and thrive.

As a longtime resident of Green River running for City Council in Ward 3, I am focused on practical solutions that strengthen our community for families, neighbors, and local businesses.

I support Charter Ordinance Number 1, the 1985 measure that established our City Administrator form of government. This structure keeps elected leaders focused on setting clear policy and priorities while a professional administrator handles day-to-day operations and implementation. It provides accountability, continuity, and professional management that serves residents well. I believe we should maintain and strengthen this approach so decisions stay grounded in the needs of everyday people rather than short-term politics.

A top priority is growing tax revenue by attracting and supporting businesses that welcome tourism and encourage visitors to stop and enjoy Green River’s outstanding recreation. Our river, trails, parks, Flaming Gorge proximity, and outdoor opportunities are real assets. By making it easier for visitors to spend time and money here—through hospitality, recreation-related services, and visitor-friendly amenities—we can expand the local tax base without shifting more of the burden onto residents. Stronger tourism-supported businesses mean more revenue for the services, infrastructure, and quality of life we all value.

I am a husband, father, and grandfather who has lived most of my life in Green River. I am a member of Green River Assembly of God and bring more than 20 years of experience in information technology, currently working as a Network Operations Consultant. That background has taught me practical problem-solving and a focus on results that benefit the whole community.

My goal remains the same: represent everyday residents, not special interests, and keep Green River a great place to live, raise families, and build our future. I welcome your questions and support.
